SOIL GENESIS AND PEDOGENESIS

Soil genesis, also known as pedogenesis, is the complex process by which soils are formed. This continuous transformation involves the combination of numerous elements, including weather, topography, parent material, biomass, and time. These factors interact in a coordinated manner to shape the physical, chemical, and biological properties of soil.
